I've popped, I've popped!

So that title doesn't make much sense, but really it does. :) I had 4 people rub my belly (for luck?) yesterday, so I figured I must be starting to show to other people (I could tell before, but it's my body, so I SHOULD be able to tell when there are changes, right????). So I got Mark to take a picture - and I put it next to the one from only 2 weeks ago .... Baby has popped!

I heard on the radio this morning too that Central Alberta (where I live, obviously), has been going through a baby boom the last 2-3 years - enough that they had to add extra beds to the Maternity ward at the Red Deer hospital. Before I got pregnant, I always joked that instead of seeing "dead people" like in the movie, "I see pregnant people". Guess I wasn't crazy after all! :)

Also, congrats to my friend Janel and her hubby, on the birth of their baby boy Alexi-Miguel. Now we really CAN call you Ma!! (Just don't call me Sparky!).

(Inside joke, it's a long story, from my Rez days where us 3 RLA's had 'nicknames'.)

YAY! Published again!

I finally got my hands on a copy of the October/November Digital Scrapbooking Magazine, and saw my page there in print! It's so exciting!! Of course, I had to scan everything under the sun again.

They even put it on the contents page!

And the Cover of the (second) magazine you're all going to rush out and buy!

3 New Pages

So I've neglected to post my last few layouts here, so I thought I'd do it now.

This is my nephew, Kenner, when he was a newborn - my mom was showing how tiny his feet were - that's her finger measuring up against his toes.

This is Dylan, Angela & Nevin's oldest cutie. I was just looking through my photos and found this cute one, so I thought I'd try something with it. These are NOT at all my regular colors to use, but I really like how it turned out.

And yet another one of my nephew, from a couple years back. This was for Freebs with Tina this week. I loved the look of the kit, so I got back into Freebs for this week (life has been too hectic to do challenges, but I've kept my eyes open for them).
